Description: The Adi Karnataka are Kannarese people who are regarded as untouchables in Hindu society. According to their own traditions they were once the original inhabitants and rulers of Karnataka until they were conquered centuries ago and forced to flee into the forests.

Prayer Points:
• The low caste status of the Adi Karnataka has left them marginalized and neglected. Pray that they might know their true value and infinite worth in Jesus.
• The Adi Karnataka have a literacy rate of just 26%. Pray for Christian educators to reach out to those desiring to read and that a hunger to study, know and obey the word of God might be birthed with them.
• Around 25% of the Adi Karnataka have moved to the cities, many of which reside in urban slums. Pray for compassionate ministries to be called forth to enter into this poverty with the love of Christ.

A Prayer: Heavenly Father, your heart breaks for the suffering of the Adi Karnataka. May your healing love visit them in great measure and draw them into your eternal presence.

Every year 31,000 Adi Karnataka die without Christ, many of whom never hear the gospel in their lifetime. Let's do something to change that.
