Description: Indian Buddhists, known also as Nau Buddh, are Marathi speaking dalits (lower caste people) who converted to Buddhism in the latter part of the 20th century. The mass conversion was led by Indian philospher Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. Today they form a unique community in India with their own culture and traditions.
Prayer Points:
• The Indian Buddhists rejected Christianity because they saw that Christians were divided by caste. Pray that they might understand the true nature of the gospel and the reality that we are all one in Christ.
• Indian Buddhists are seeking to assert their value and worth by rejecting Hinduism, which considers them untouchables. Pray that they might find their true identity in their Creator.
• There is presently no ministry among Indian Buddhists. Pray that God would send buddhist background believers to share Jesus with them.

Every year 69,000 Nau Buddh die without Christ, many of whom never hear the gospel in their lifetime. Let's do something to change that.
