Description: The Sousi are the Southernmost major tribe of the Shilha Berbers in Morocco. They live in the high atlas mountains, a steep and difficult terrain with weather extremes of highs and lows in temperature. They are agro-pasturalists, practicing a mixture of agricultural and livestock farming.

• The Sousi are well known for their entrepreneurial abilities, and many have become successful as grocery store owners in major cities. Pray that God might use this ability to advance his kingdom through pioneer church-planting in Morocco and North Africa.
• The Sousi have been an influential political force in Morocco and were instrumental in resisting French colonial power. Pray that this defiance might be channeled into a fight against the Evil one through the power of Christ.
• The older generation among the Sousi is largely illiterate, while the younger generation is highly educated. Pray for effective approaches to ministry among both generations that will bring the gospel in a contextual way effective for discipleship.
