November 7 / Bouyei

Description: The Bouyei are one of the officially recongized minority ethnic groups in China. They live primarily in Guizhou province, which is in the southeast part of the country, and are related to the Zhuang people. They have inhabited this area for at least the last 2,000 years.

Prayer Points:
• The vast majority of the Bouyei have never heard the gospel even once. Pray for widespread contextualized evangelization of the Bouyei in their language.
• Over half of the Bouyei are unable to read and write. Pray for specialized ministry to those who are primarily oral learners.
• The Bible has not yet been completed in the Bouyei language. Pray for those working on this need and for the widespread ditribution of the Bouyei Bible once completed.

A Prayer: Heavenly Father, your love for the Bouyei is infinite and unstoppable. We pray that the Bouyei might experience an outpouring of your heart in this generation.

Every year 24,000 Bouyei die without Christ, many of whom never hear the gospel in their lifetime. Let's do something to change that.
